Your lawn will be hydroseeded with a tested, high quality, certified turf mix. Germination time will depend on the weather, the time of year, the amount of water, the area you live and other factors. Usually grass will be visible in 7-10 days, a few days slower in cold weather or the hottest part of the summer.

Parkview Hydroseeding uses only the highest quality grass seed mixtures and hydromulch. Our various seed mixtures range from the plushest elite blend of Bluegrass to Sports Turf, Native and Reclamation Mixes. We us a minimum 70% wood mulch which provides the best water retention, nutrients for seed germination and designed to last over four months.

Caring for your hydroseeded lawn

1. Start watering 24 hours after seeding. Water four times per day until you see puddling on the soil. When grass reaches 1” reduce frequency but increase the amount of time you water each area.

2. Fertilize your new lawn about three weeks after seeding. After your lawn is established schedule fertilizer applications abut four times per year.

3. Mow your lawn when your grass is just over 1” tall. After your lawn is established set your mowing height to 3-5”.
